Fox News, in their infinite journalistic wisdom, (and apparently by accident,) used a same-sex couple’s wedding photo to illustrate an anti-equality anti-feminism op-ed by a conservative author. This is a story that you really need to follow closely to grasp its full karmic, delicious beauty.
The photo is pretty well-known. It’s of Stephanie Figarelle and Lela McArthur, enjoying their first kiss as a married couple — the first same-sex couple to be married at the Empire State Building last year.
And if that’s not enough, the column is written by Suzanne Venker, who, it turns out, is the niece of the supreme mother of the anti-feminism movement herself, Phyllis Schlafly.
